I am an experimental artist inspired by the undulations, fluidity and movement of water.
Seeking to deconstruct and draw bridges between genres, social dualisms or any form of structure, I explore the connection of sounds through textures, merging my voice with natural field recordings, nu jazz, contemporary classical, and experimental electronic synthesis, finding my sound in between soundscapes and traditional composition. Whether I am wandering through extreme natural environments like glaciers, oceans and deserts or delving deep into the studio, my process involves translating these experiences through technology and experimental approaches. My work explores the intersection of embodiment, discomfort, and vulnerability as ways to reconnect mind and body dualities.
"Silencing Nature / Healing Dualisms", is a culmination of a five-year research endeavour during my masters in Sonic Arts and Intersectional Feminism - a photography series, a book and a sound installation set for official release this coming year.
Ahead of the release of this project, I am currently working on my debut EP, an extract of which can be found in the music section.Music
